Paua or abalone is a family of molluscs that live in almost every ocean on earth. While there are many types, a small handful are prized for food, pearls or as in our case their wonderfully iridescent shells. Abalone has suffered globally from overfishing, poaching and pollution. We source our shells from traditional fishing communities who work to preserve Indonesia’s marine biodiversity for future generations. 

Blue quartz, one of the rarest varieties of quartz, is loved for its huge range of clarity and color. Known as a healing stone it’s said to alleviate fear and at the same time enhance creativity and expression.
