Golden Topaz, Smoky Quartz & Peridot Dolphin Pendant
A unique pendant inspired by a unique situation. Our jeweler created this pendant in honor of the long battle to protect Indonesia’s marine life, represented here by two dolphins.
The pendant itself is stunning combination of silversmithing skills, style and gemstones. Featuring two dolphins in a floating setting accented by flowers, the rest of the pendant follows the floral theme with two large orchid motifs. Stones selected to aid in struggle accent the piece with two teardrop cut smoky quartz, two marquise golden topaz and a single princess citrine.
Citrine (or yellow quartz if you’re boring) is an ancient gemstone. Said to ward off evil thoughts, encourage new beginning and spark imagination along with stimulating good circulation and digestion. Citrine is the November birthstone with its warm golden-yellow coloring said to be a gift from the sun.
Golden topaz, sometimes called honey topaz, is loved for its darker tones that radiate and wonderful spectrum of warm colors. This stone has long been associated with prosperity, confidence and luck. In fact it’s said that wearing golden topaz during meetings, presentations or negotiations will make sure that things go your way!
Smoky quartz is perhaps one the worlds more mysterious gems. While its mysterious black-brown hue has been prized in jewelry for centuries it’s only recently been discovered that this coloration is the result of thousands of years exposed to radiation inside the earth's crust. While thankfully the stones don’t have any radioactivity to worry about they are prized as a protective stone in both the physical, emotional and spiritual realm.
