Lulur relies on a powerful combination of three main ingredients.
Rice powder gently exfoliates while hydrating, tightening and brightening the skin along with reducing inflammation and providing essential vitamins.
Tapioca flour controls skin oil, & hydrates while providing a beautifully silky texture to the lulur.
Finally, mung bean powder exfoliates and hydrates but also improves the skins elasticity, rebalances skin ph and promotes collagen production.

Jasmine (Vegan)
The fresh, soothing scent of jasmine has been a favorite all over Asia for thousands of years. Used in countless ways it also holds deep significance for us here in Bali. Both its flowers and their scent represent purity, love and devotion.
Frangipani (Vegan)
Frangipani is a huge part of everyday life in Bali and can be seen in almost every home and temple. The five petals represent the five elements of our universe and the flowers serve as a bridge between the earthly and divine realms.
Besides its refreshing, floral and somewhat creamy aroma, frangipani has a wealth of benefits for skin. It helps to balance oily skin, works fantastically to moisturize skin and works as a natural circulatory stimulant to help repair and energize the skin.
Seaweed (Vegan)
A force to be reckoned with in skincare, seaweed really is a superfood. Loaded with antioxidants, amino acids, peptides, vitamins and minerals its anti-aging and skin repair properties are incredible. Seaweed farms are also of huge value to the environment and coastal communities. Seaweed is a great carbon sink and provides safe breeding grounds for marine life. Coffee has emerged recently as a wildcard in skincare. Its rich complement of antioxidants and caffeine protect against sun damage, increase circulation to the skin, reduce inflammation and have great anti-aging properties. Our partners use 100% Indonesian arabica coffee in all our products.

Indonesia isn’t well known for tea compared to other countries but we’ve been producing tea since the mid 1800’s. Our cool, humid, volcanic mountain valleys are perfect for tea plants to thrive and today tea is grown on most Indonesian islands.
Green tea’s benefits for skin care are well known. A powerful antioxidant, it protects skin against UV and pollution damage, minimizes the signs of aging, reduces sebum, soothes damaged skin and fights acne, psoriasis & eczema.

Strawberries? Yes, Indonesia grows strawberries, a lot of strawberries. In fact, the beautiful Balinese mountain town of Bedugul is known for its strawberry farms. While we all love the fruity, sweet flavor & aroma, strawberries actually have huge skincare benefits.
The antioxidants and astringent properties of strawberries help to fight aging, brighten complexion, repair skin damage, fight acne & control sebum.
Milk
For thousands of years we’ve used milk as an absolutely wondrous skincare product. From the ancient Egyptian queen Cleopatra, famed for her beauty to Bali’s traditional, sacred healers, the Balian. The rich nutrient content of milk does absolute wonders for skin.

In a bowl, mix well about all the lulur powder and approx. 100ml ml of water.
Apply evenly over the body and wait around 15 minutes until it’s half dry.
Gently rub with a massage motion to exfoliate and remove dead skin.
